Guess what? I’m conducting a Social Media Weekend Experiment for 2019. You read that right, aaalllllof 2019, only 10 “ish” months to go — I’ve been doing it for 60 days now.
Here’s the backstory: When I broke my social media fast the last week of January I did not like the impact of being back.? All the old habits returned, my focus was pulled, and I was kinda grump-tastic. Y’all, it was bad.
I quickly realized that 3 days offline a week was not enough with my current season of life –> homeschool, army wife & part-time online work. My calendar is brimming with beautiful commitments & for some reason, social media ZAPS my energy away from those. ?
So…I’ve taken a huge leap of faith & am trusting thatwhen I show up *super intentionally* on my Social Media Weekends seeds will be planted & relationships I adore will be nurtured. ? When I’m online I want to be ALL IN! And with this shiftI’m super excited to see what happens!
Strategy Details: Instead of social media free weekends, I’m doing the opposite. I’m embracing a Social Media Weekend. Two days a week I’ll log into the beautiful world of social networking (because I DO love it & connecting) and chat & hang out! ?
